  • researching the structures of the church and how they have changed and continued over time
  • exploring the concept of the ‘Reign of God’ and how the Church’s Social Teachings seek to realise it
  • analysing the ‘Constitution On the Church in the Modern World’ (Gaudium et Spes) from the Second Vatican Council
  • examining Marian and other icons as expressions of the nature of God, humanity and the Church
